The creativity of Surrealism is indeed admirable, but it always feels too personal. As an observer, it is difficult to step into the diverse world of form. Of course, since it has served the form, resonance is naturally not the focus. However, photography, which is also a narrative means, faces far more predicaments than painting. Therefore, don’t ask what the significance of breaking through limitations is; breaking through itself is a kind of significance.
Shattered banknotes, planes filled with prohibited items, humanity is both expectant and fearful of the future. Innovation is not so much an artistic issue as a philosophical one.
